Carol Good

Carol Good, age 77, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on April 3, 2024. She was born on November 16, 1946 in Huntington, West Virginia to the late Philip and Margaret Rice. Carol attended St. Joseph High School in Huntington, West Virginia and went on to continue her education graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from The Ohio State University.

Carol was a physical therapist whose specialty was pediatrics. Her true passion was helping children reach their developmental milestones. She especially loved her work with Easter Seals and The Childhood League. Carol was a member of St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church in Hilliard, Ohio, and she was the Treasurer of the Four Seasons Garden Club. Carol was active in Woods of the Scioto Homeowners Association and was a member of numerous book clubs.

Carol had a passion for gardening, sewing and needlepoint and attending her grandchildren’s school and sporting events as well as vacationing with family. Silver sneakers was the form of exercise she enjoyed the most and she always looked forward to the camaraderie she shared with her friends there.

She is survived by her daughters Meredith (Jason) Fine and Alison Gallagher; grandchildren Madeline and Amelia Fine and Colin Gallagher and brother Phil “Buzz” (Ginny) Rice. Carol is preceded in death by her high school sweetheart and husband of 47 years Michael Good.

Visitation will be on Tuesday April 9, 2024 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Schoedinger Dublin; 5980 Perimeter Drive, Dublin, Ohio 43017. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday April 10, 2024 at 11 a.m. St. Brendan the Navigator; 4475 Dublin Road, Hilliard, Ohio 43026.
