Dayner Alexandre Cordero

Dayner was a 5th grade student at North Middle School in Lima, Ohio. He was of the Episcopalian faith, and his kind and joyful spirit was a reflection of the love he had for his family, his friends, and his community.

Dayner was a happy, active boy who loved life and loved being around people. He enjoyed playing basketball and football, going fishing, listening to music, and spending time hanging out with family and friends. He will be lovingly remembered as a caring and affectionate child who loved making others laugh and who was known as a prankster. He made friends easily and cared deeply for his many friends. One of his family's favorite memories is how he would proudly tell them that he was the ladies man, always with a big grin on his face. Above all, Dayner will be remembered for his beautiful smile, contagious laugh and that is what people will miss most about him.

Along with his mother, Shasta Cazares, Dayner is survived by his brothers and sister, Scott N. Moreno of Tampa, Florida, Julian Cazares of Tampa, Florida, and Lliyiana Moreno of Adrian, Michigan; his grandparents, Debra Moreno of Lima, Ohio and Dale Hart of Tampa, Florida; his aunts and uncles, Dale and Bree Hart of Ocala, Florida and Sherri and Joe Urbina of Tampa, Florida; his great-aunt and uncle, Tiyu and Chester Blevins, and his many cousins, including Shanti Urbina, Miguel Urbina, Preston Hart, Cameron Hart, Demetta Waller-Flores, Doris Blevins, Chester Blevins III, Roy Blevins, Nelie Urbina, Nakoa Urbina and several others.

Dayner is proceeded in death by his great-aunt, Kim Hunt, and his great-grandparents, Doris Waller and Roy (Bud) Waller.

Dayner also leaves behind his beloved cat, Miko, who brought him great comfort and companionship. He shared a very special and close relationship with his cousin, Larry Birt, and with his close family friend, David Cage, both of whom held a special place in his heart.

A Celebration of Life will be held in honor of Dayner. Arrangements are not yet complete, and information will be shared when available. In his memory, memorial contributions may be made to the Nationwide Children's Hospital ICU and to the Ronald McDonald House.
