Dolores C. Chichy

She spent many years working at Grand Photography Studio and as a letter carrier with the United States Postal Service. Outside of work, Dolores was passionate about a variety of hobbies, including sewing, quilting, gardening, cooking and playing cards. Her family and friends will fondly remember her not only for her talent and interests, but for her warm heart, infectious sense of humor, and the kindness she showed everyone she met.

Dolores is survived by her loving children: Chris (Steve) Thomas, Denise (Donny) Bowles, and Laurie (Kevin) Holdash, 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Kurak; daughter, Barbara Kapela; grandson, David Thomas and brother Daniel (Ruth) Skuza.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church; 4475 Dublin Road Hilliard, Ohio 43026 on Saturday January 24, 2026 at 2:00pm. An Interment Service will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio.
