Elaine Grace Lakin, aged 84, passed away on Wednesday, September 20th peacefully, surrounded by family and loved ones. She was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Hauser and her mother Rita Hauser- also her two brothers, Richard and Denny Hauser. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Donald Lakin, her two sons, Timothy and David (Britt), and grandchildren Marcy, Colin, Grant, and Val. Elaine was a career nurse, graduating from St. Francis School of Nursing in 1959, continuing her education at Central Michigan University where she obtained her master’s degree. She was initially employed by St. Anthony Hospital, then in later years was employed by The Ohio Hospital Association. Elaine had a deep love for family and friends. There will be a Celebration of Life open house in remembrance of Elaine on Sunday, October 1st from 2-6pm at 7128 Glacier Ridge Blvd. Dublin, OH 43017.
