James Zimmer, of Dublin, Ohio, died on August 15, 2024. He was born in Akron, Ohio, on March, 3, 1944, to the late Carl and Gladys Zimmer. He was a graduate of Coventry High School. Former member of the Ohio Army National Guard, former Commander of the Akron Power Squadron, and a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was the Store Manager at Gold Circle & Sales Manager at Independent Drug. He loved boating and was the life of any party. Survived by son Jimmy (Rissa) Zimmer, grandchildren Elianna & Bryce Zimmer. Arrangements entrusted to Schoedinger Dublin. Contributions may be made to Honor Flight Columbus in his memory.
