Jennifer was born on December 1, 1973, in Detroit, Michigan, and grew up in Wauseon, Ohio. She attended Ohio University before transferring to the University of Toledo to pursue a degree in pharmacy. After graduating, she moved to Columbus, where she worked as a retail pharmacist for CVS at various locations throughout Central Ohio. In 2014, she retired to focus on raising her children.
While still a student, Jennifer was involved in a severe car accident. The accident—and the extraordinary recovery that followed—defined much of her life. She suffered multiple broken bones, including serious injuries to her knees and hips, and was told she might never walk again. She refused to accept that outcome. Through determination and grit, she not only walked again but went on to run half marathons in her forties. She was a fighter—stubborn, resilient, and tough.
Jennifer had many passions, with fitness, faith, and philanthropy at the center of her life. Her sons attended Saint Charles Preparatory School, where she volunteered extensively. She led the annual Baseball Bash for many years, worked the Christmas Auction, and supported countless other school events. Beyond the school community, she gave her time and resources to numerous Central Ohio charities focused on causes close to her heart.
Jennifer was an active parishioner at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Powell, where she participated in Bible study and taught PSR.
She was known for her quiet strength, generosity, and deep devotion to her family. Jennifer is survived by her husband, Jason; her sons, Reid, Anderson, and Austin; her parents, Len and Mary Lou Coleman; and her brother, Adam Coleman (Rebecca).
Jennifer will be remembered by those who knew her as caring, funny, competitive, and brilliant—someone whose smile could light up a room.
