March 5, 2001 – October 5, 2026
With heavy hearts we share that our son, brother, and friend, John Huber, age 25, passed away on October 5, 2026. Born with a big heart, an adventurous spirit, and an innate desire to help those around him, John brought warmth, laughter, and an unforgettable light into the world.
John was the adored son of Shanna Huber and Jim Huber (Sabrina). He was the beloved oldest brother to Joe Huber and Shara Huber, holding a special place in their lives that will never be replaced. John also leaves behind his cherished companion, Scub, who brought great joy and love to his heart.
John effortlessly brought a smile to the faces of those around him. He had a natural ability to connect with people from all walks of life with his warmth, quick wit, humor, and gentle presence.
In high school, John excelled at wrestling, earning the nickname "The Cradle” and could often be found skateboarding around town. Throughout his life, he enjoyed the simple pleasures in things, good food, good music and family. Always looking out for others, he was deeply generous, ready to lend a helping hand or offer the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He was happiest near the water, spending time at the lake or getting lost in a good book. In recent years, John discovered a true calling in the kitchen. A passionate self-taught chef, he had dreams of one day opening Columbus’s first Michelin-starred restaurant with his siblings.
John is reunited in peace with his adored Aunt Susan, whose memory he held close to his heart. He leaves behind a legacy of generosity, humor, and unconditional love that will live on in his family, friends, and all the animals who knew his gentle nature. He will be deeply missed by many and we will forever miss the way he made our hearts giggle.
We hope he knew just how special he was and how much those shared moments meant. John, you are missed more than words can ever express.
Visitation and receiving of friends and family will be Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Schoedinger Funeral Home, 5980 Perimeter Dr., Dublin, OH 43017.
