

Joseph Franklin Andrion-Robbins, 54, of Dublin, Ohio, passed away Monday March 25, 2024, in Columbus, Ohio. He was born November 5, 1969, in Defiance, Ohio, to the late Franklin and Helen (Strite) Robbins. Joe married his husband JR Andrion on November 12, 2015.
Joe is survived by his husband J.R. Andrion-Robbins, brother Jim (Brenda) Robbins of Twinsburg, sister-in-law Anna (Neil) Dunn of Macomb Township, brother-in-law Alex (Kelly) Andrion of Harrison Township, nieces and nephews Gillian and Grace Robbins, Ava and Bryson Dunn, Avery, Parker and Brynlee Andrion and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Joe graduated from Ayersville High School in 1988. He received a Bachelor of Arts from Calvin College and his Bachelor of Science in Communications at Ohio University. After graduation, Joe worked in both the banking and retail industries. He transferred his skills to be an integral part of the team developing customer relations for IGS in Columbus. He created an extended family from the friends and coworkers at his company. Joe was a dedicated advocate for equal rights and participated in mental health/wellness education and support groups. He loved to spend time with his husband and family, enjoying the theatre, travel, music and the cultural scene in his home of Columbus, Ohio. Joe will truly be missed by all who knew him. The family would like to thank Joe’s oncologist Dr. Richard Baiocchi and his wonderful staff for the care shown to Joe and J.R. through their journey.
Visitation for Joseph will be held Friday, April 12, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Dublin Schoedinger, 5980 Perimeter Dr., Dublin, Ohio 43017. On Saturday, April 13, there will be visitation at 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10:30 a.m. at Schoedinger Dublin.
