Judy Lambert Hardin

Judy lived a life full of adventure, family, creativity, and simple joys. She loved to travel, discover beautiful places, capture precious moments in photographs, and, most of all, spend time with her children and family. Her adventurous spirit took her abroad, where she lived for nearly a decade, embracing new places, cultures, experiences, and, most importantly, making lifelong memories along the way.

Judy had an eye for beauty and a talent for seeing the moments worth remembering. She spent years behind the camera, photographing weddings and helping families preserve some of the most meaningful days of their lives. Her work reflected the same qualities she brought to life… creativity, determination, curiosity, and an appreciation for the little details that make a moment special.

She especially loved the charm of places that seemed to invite you to slow down and stay awhile. Trips to South Carolina, quaint towns, beautiful surroundings, and quiet moments were among the things that brought her joy. In her later years, some of her favorite moments were also the simplest like spending time with her family, watching tennis, enjoying cuddles from her furry four-legged family members, and enjoying quiet evenings on the patio.

Judy will be remembered for her love of family, her independent spirit, her curiosity about the world, and her ability to find beauty in the places and moments around her.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Herschel Lambert and Margaret Davis Lambert of Jackson, Ohio.

She is survived by her sister, Nancy Lambert; her daughter, Christy Leggett (Vince) of Horseshoe Bay, Texas; her son, Spencer Hardin (Karen) of Dublin, Ohio; her grandchildren, Clay Leggett (Nevaeh) of Austin, Texas, Aileigh Hardin (Justin) of Marysville, Ohio, and Talton Hardin of Dublin, Ohio; and her great-grandchildren, Spencer Marie Leggett and Clay Cole Leggett II.

She leaves behind a family who loved her deeply and who will carry her memory with them in stories shared, photographs treasured, travels remembered, and quiet evenings spent together.

A Celebration of Judy’s Life will be held on Friday, October 2, from 4:00–6:00 p.m. at the Dublin History Museum located at 35 S. High Street, Dublin, Ohio 43017. The Celebration will include a brief service beginning at 4:30 pm. Arrangements entrusted to Schoedinger Dublin.
