Karen Mae Sells

Karen was born in Columbus, Ohio, on April 18, 1950, to the late Richard and Margaret Lucas. She graduated from North High School in 1969, after which she joined the Perry Township Division of Communications dispatching fire and police. She attained the rank of Chief and retired after 30 years of service.

Karen was a big Buckeye football fan. She enjoyed working in her yard, playing pickleball, fishing, playing cards, traveling, and being with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her brother Richard M. Lucas (Marilyn), her brother Jack Lucas, her brother-in-law Larry Walley, and her mother-in-law Gerry Sells.

She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Danny; her sister Sharon Walley, her sister-in-law Brenda Lucas, and many loving relatives and long-time friends.

The family will have a celebration of life service on October 30, 2026, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Schoedinger Dublin, 5980 Perimeter Drive, Dublin, Ohio 43017.
