Kristi Anna Worthington Ralston entered into the waiting arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on May 28, 2026, at the age of 71 after a courageous, 16-month battle with Glioblastoma. She passed away comfortably at home, supported by her loving husband of 30 years, Stephen J. Ralston, DDS. Kristi was a 1972 graduate of Anna High School (Anna, Ohio). Early in her career she was a Columbus Postal Carrier for 15 years. Later, she was the smiling face welcoming patients young and old at Ralston Family Dentistry in Clintonville.
Kristi was born to William and Kathryn Worthington who preceded her in death. She is survived by her brothers Dan (Marsha) Worthington and Mike Worthington, sister Kathy (Dannie) Adkins as well as numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
Kristi was a passionate person. She was kind, strong, loving, and inspiring. In her early years she enjoyed wind surfing. She had her own board and sail and loved to catch a good breeze. She also loved cycling. Later in life she became an avid photographer. She especially loved photographing flowers, trees, and beautiful nature settings. She gave her photographs away to friends and family and many hung in the Ralston Family Dentist Office.
Kristi loved traveling, especially travel that included outdoor activities and adventures such as biking, hiking, and kayaking. She and Steve enjoyed visiting the National Parks, Niagara on the Lake and escaping to Florida and Arizona. She and Steve also enjoyed antique shopping throughout the Midwest and built fine collections of pottery and ceramics. In addition, Kristi was an award-winning gardener, incorporating garden sculptures designed by George Carruth (Waterville, Ohio). Visitors always marveled at the beauty and quiet serenity of the outdoor spaces of her home. She loved spending time with her family and friends, including life-long friend, Patty Gerken.
Family and friends will celebrate Kristi's life at Schoedinger Dublin (5980 Perimeter Drive, Dublin, OH) on Friday, June 26 from 2:00pm to 6:00 pm.
Steve thanks Kristi's care teams at The James Cancer Hospital, Solove Research Institute, and Ohio Health Hospice with Compassus for their care and assistance.
