Lori Ann Beal

Parents are Philip C. Houlette (deceased), Charles W. Beal (step-father) and Mary Sue (Barr/Houlette) Beal, mother. She is survived by Paula, sister; Cole, nephew; Jeffrey (Dorothy) Houlette, uncle; Julie (Dan) Filipovich, aunt; Chris Woodruff, boyfriend; and many nieces and nephews.

Lori’s early education years were spent in the Worthington schools. She graduated from Worthington High School in 1990. Lori went on to Columbus State Community College to get her Associate of Applied Science Degree in Nursing Technology on December 9, 1994. In addition, Lori attended Mount Vernon Nazarene University Business Studies.

Lori participated in the gymnastics program throughout her years at Worthington schools.

Lori began her work career in June 1999 with what eventually became United Health Care. Lori was a National Account Executive for United Health Care. Her 25 years spent with the company were years she enjoyed. She loved her team members and was very good at problem solving. To quote from one of her team members, “We’ve known Lori for her friendly personality, positive attitude, and sense of humor.

Lori loved helping others and had an almost supernatural ability to find a solution to anything. Lori was often the first to rally others to celebrate a team member’s joyous event or to organize support for a team member going through a rough time. Lori is greatly missed by all who knew and worked with her.

Lori will be remembered for enjoying life, having fun, vacations, cruises, and the beach and lots of family and friends who love and miss her.

A memorial service for Lori will be held Saturday, January 18, at 2:00 p.m. at Schoedinger Dublin, 5980 Perimeter Drive, Dublin, Ohio 43017. Family will receive friends and family from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. following the service.
