Marguerite S Hughes

Marguerite (Sewell) Hughes, age 90, peacefully passed away following a short illness on May 22, 2022 in Dublin, Ohio. Born and raised in Blanchester, Ohio, Marguerite met and married the love of her life, Robert E. Hughes, in 1950. Robert and Marguerite raised their beautiful family of 4 children (Tim, Dave, Robin and Jon) in Lyndhurst, Ohio, attended the Lyndhurst United Methodist Church and dedicated countless hours of support to the Cuyahoga County Republican Party.

Marguerite and Bob’s family blossomed into 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Sadly predeceased by her granddaughter Alicia in 1990 and husband Bob in 1991, Marguerite continued to enjoyed the remaining 30 years of her busy life surrounded by the love of her family and many friends.

Marguerite will be remembered for bringing smiles and giggles to the face of every child she met. Her funny and whimsical songs are still sung and remembered by all of us who mourn her passing.

A funeral service will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 am on Saturday, May 28th at the Schoedinger Funeral Home (5980 Perimeter Dr., Dublin, Ohio). A private interment service will follow at Lakeview Cemetery (12316 Euclid Ave., Cleveland).
