Maria Carol Pelleschi

Maria Carol Pelleschi, affectionately known as “Ami” was born in Buffalo, New York on January 18, 1943. She gained her heavenly wings on October 23, 2022 at Kobacker House in Columbus, Ohio. Maria graduated from Cardinal Mooney High School (Youngstown, Ohio), in 1961. In 1963, she met the love of her life, Maxmillan F. Pelleschi. They were married in 1969 for 53 wonderful years. Maria retired in 2015 from Macy’s Corporation after 27 years and moved to Dublin, Ohio. She enjoyed cooking Sunday dinners for her family. She loved watching her grandchildren play sports and musical performances, shopping, trips to the casino, and her fur babies Bambi & Layla.

Maria leaves behind three daughters Maria Pelleschi-Metzler (Chad), Michelle Pelleschi, & Martina Brown (Tim) all of Hilliard, Ohio and a stepson Ben (Michelle) of Gig Harbor, Washington. Maria had nine grandchildren: Max, Phillip, Maddie, David, Gia, Michael, Kyle, Maddox and Gianna. Brothers, Leonard (Judy), Tony (Alice), and Michael (Sue) all from Youngstown, Ohio. Sister-in-laws, Shirley Delboccio and Patricia DiFrangia both of Hilliard, Ohio, and Rachel Hill (Ron) of Liberty, Ohio along with many nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Michelina Lascola, a sister, Anne Knight, her mother-in-law Rachel D. Pelleschi; her sister-in-law, Delphine Belcik and her brother-in-laws, Raymond Knight, John DiFrangia, John Belcik and Richard Delboccio.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 31, 2022, from 4-7 pm at SCHOEDINGER DUBLIN; 5980 Perimeter Drive, Dublin, Ohio 43017. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at 10:30 am at Saint Margaret of Corona Church; 1600 N. Hague Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43204.
