Michael Patrick Carroll

Mike was born on August 6, 1950, in Indonesia to the late Marjorie and Henry Carroll. He spent the first ten years of his life in Indonesia before his family moved to the United States. Following high school, Mike proudly served four years in the United States Air Force. He went on to attend the University of Massachusetts, where he earned a bachelor's degree in business.

Mike built a successful career in finance, serving as a Chief Financial Officer and traveling extensively throughout the world. His career took him to many places, but his greatest joy was always found at home, surrounded by the people he loved. More than anything, Mike cherished spending time with his family and the memories they shared.

Outside of work and family, Mike enjoyed skiing and biking. He especially enjoyed biking across the United States with Janice, sharing many adventures and experiences along the way. In retirement, he found particular enjoyment in building elaborate LEGO models, appreciating the creativity and detail involved in each project. He also enjoyed trains and the many hobbies that kept him curious and engaged.

Above all, Mike will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He shared 57 wonderful years of marriage with his loving wife, Janice Carroll, who was his partner throughout life's many adventures.

In addition to Janice, Mike is survived by his daughter, Cynthia (Steve) Locker; grandchildren, Scott and Chloe Locker; sister, Naomi (Steve) Comer; and brother, Henry (Lois) Carroll. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marjorie and Henry Carroll.

Mike leaves behind a lifetime of memories and a family who will forever be grateful for the love, laughter, and time they shared with him.
