Myrna Mary Krausnick

With heavy hearts and profound love, we remember the life of Myrna Mary Krausnick, who peacefully passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Hilliard Assisted Living in Hilliard, Ohio. Born on December 21, 1936, to Alvern and Amaretta Wingert in Rapid City, South Dakota, Myrna’s life was anchored by her deep love for her family.

Myrna is survived by her devoted husband of 63 years, Thomas Krausnick. Their love endured through the years, with Tom providing her care and comfort until the end. Their marriage was joyful, always filled with love and laughter.

She was a loving mother to her four sons, Paul, John, James, and Dale, and dedicated her life to raising her family with love and kindness. She warmly welcomed Dale’s wife, Nancy, into the family and cherished the time spent with those she loved. She adored her two grandchildren, Jessica and Melissa Krausnick, and her two great-grandchildren, Macy and Perry Hetrick.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Joyce (Wingert) Dosch. She is survived by her loving brother and sisters, David Wingert, Evelyn (Wingert) Halvorson, Fran (Wingert) Ritter, and Linda (Wingert) Haeder.

She created warm memories by making her home a gathering place on holidays. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and cooking. Later in life, Tom and Myrna found a new passion for square dancing. Myrna’s closet was filled with dancing outfits she custom-made.

Friends and family can gather to honor and remember Myrna at a memorial on Monday, October 12, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm, followed by a religious service 3:00pm at Schoedinger Dublin, 5980 Perimeter Drive, Dublin, OH 43017.
