Nejla Dogangun

Nejla Dogangun was born on July 13, 1932 in her beloved native country of Turkey. She is preceded in death by her dear children, Numan and Serpil Dogangun and her loving Husband, Burhan Dogangun. Nejla passed on January 18th, 2023, directly following a prayer recited by her devoted friend, Ulker Durupinar. She survived by her granddaughters, Linzey Strommen and Brittany Ludwig along with her grandson-in-law Garrett Strommen and great grandchildren, Miller and Luna Strommen. Nejla joins her children and husband in the heavens, together again at last. She will be remembered fondly by her friends and family for her bold strength, big heart, and unrivaled cooking. A traditional Muslim burial will be held at Union Cemetery on Saturday, January 21 at 10:00 AM, followed by a lunch to celebrate her life at Café Istanbul in Dublin.
