Philip Sheldon Krave, born on a warm August day in Lancaster, CA, soared to Heaven on December 10th, at Riverside Hospital in Columbus, OH. He was a devoted son to Sheldon and Carolyn Krave, a loving father to Nick and Justin, and a cherished friend to many. Philip's journey, marked by warmth, laughter, and a passion for life, has left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.

Philip's educational pursuits took flight at Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA, where he earned his Bachelor's degree. His intellectual journey reached new heights with a Master's Degree from Azusa Pacific University. In his professional life, Philip touched many lives during his 14-year tenure at The Village Network in Delaware, OH, leaving a legacy of compassion and dedication.

A man of many talents, Philip achieved the extraordinary feat of obtaining his pilot's license before he could navigate the streets with a driver's license. His love for aviation and mastery of the skies was just one facet of his diverse interests, which included an undeniable passion for cars and an unwavering enthusiasm for hockey.

In the tapestry of Philip's life, family and friends found comfort in his warm acceptance and unparalleled sense of humor. His dry wit had the power to send people into fits of laughter that lingered for hours, a gift that endeared him to everyone fortunate enough to share in his company.

Survived by his beloved mother, Carolyn (94), and his two sons, Justin (34) & Nick (28), Philip's memory lives on not just in the hearts of family and friends but also in the pawprints of his loyal feline companion, Ref (6).

To celebrate Philip's vibrant life, a Celebration of Life gathering will take place at his home in Powell, OH, on Saturday, December 30th, 2023, from 10 am until 9 pm. This gathering is a testament to the impact he had on those around him, offering a space to share stories, laughter, and love as we remember the incredible person he was.
