

Richard Henry (Dick) Kunkemoeller, 89, of Plain City, Ohio (formerly of Cincinnati, Ohio), passed away on April 30, 2022. Dick was born on January 1, 1933, to Alfred and Alberta (nee Beel) Kunkemoeller of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Dick grew up in Cincinnati with his twin brother, Paul, and younger brother, Bob. He graduated from Purcell High School and Xavier University. He proudly served as an Army First Lieutenant in Korea. Dick was an executive with Ford Motor Company in Michigan and Cincinnati for over 40 years.
Dick married Jeanine Aguettant in 1955 and they raised three children together in Michigan and Cincinnati: Marianne, Catherine (Cathy) and Andrew (Drew). He was later a loving and generous grandfather and great-grandfather.
Dick was an avid golfer and long-time member of the Hamilton Elks Golf Club. He was a Reds and Bengals fan and also enjoyed fishing and family beach vacations. His family lovingly agrees he had a passionate interest in the weather, driving directions and yardwork.
Dick is survived by children, Marianne (Jerry) Shirley, Cathy (Mark) Chenetski, and Drew (Paul Wolfe); his brother, Bob; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many cousins, nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jeanine, his parents Alfred and Alberta, and his twin brother Paul.
The family will hold a funeral mass on Monday, June 13, 2022 at 10:30 am at St Brigid of Kildare in Dublin, Ohio followed by an inurnment at Resurrection Cemetery in Lewis Center, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Semper Fi & America's Fund (semperfifund.org) or the American Heart Association.
