Ronald "Ron" Stocker

Born in Conneaut, Ohio, and moving to Bellevue, Ohio, Ron graduated from Bellevue High School and later attended and graduated from Heidelberg College.

Ron leaves behind a legacy as a hardworking man who proudly retired as a supervisory special agent with the United States federal government, partnering across multiple government agencies throughout his long career. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. Ron's early days were spent playing minor league professional baseball before a shoulder injury dictated a different career path, although his love of baseball and sports continued throughout his life into retirement when Ron worked for the NFL as a drug testing coordinator for the Cleveland Browns.

He is best known for his selflessness, graciousness and extremely generous spirit. And, as Ron would often say, "Thank you for thanking me for thanking you!"

He is survived by his loving family which includes daughter Lisa (son-in-law Brian), son Gregory (daughter-in-law Jessica), and his beloved grandchildren, Alex and Zach.

He is preceded in death by his son, Ronnie, his parents, Edward and Lina Stocker, and his brother, Duane.

As per his wishes, Ronald will be cremated and interred at Holy Cross Cemetery in Brook Park, Ohio at a later date.

Memorial contributions can be made in Ron's name to OhioHealth Hospice House (formerly Kobacker House) in Columbus, Ohio. We are sincerely grateful for the compassionate care provided when it was needed most. We finally found the angels here.
