

She was born on January 20, 1956, in London, Ohio, to the late Marilyn Smith and Sonny Wheeler. Sharon graduated from London High School in 1974, where she was a cheerleader throughout her high school years.
Throughout her life, Sharon worked in administrative roles at several architecture and engineering firms. She was dedicated, dependable, and took pride in her work.
On June 29, 2003, she married the love of her life, John “Guido” Magnacca. They were best friends who truly did everything together. Sundays were their special day, often spent putzing around the house and enjoying each other’s company. They also loved traveling together, especially to Anna Maria Island in Florida.
Sharon loved reading and always had her Kindle nearby. She had a special place in her heart for animals and was always rescuing dogs and cats. Above all else, she loved her family. She was an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother who cared deeply for everyone around her. She loved decorating, particularly at Christmas, when her home was always warm, beautiful, and welcoming.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister DeeDee Miller, and her aunt and uncle Hazel and Clinton Stickle.
Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 22 years, John Magnacca; her children Jon Field, Clinton (Lindsey) Field, and Christian (Cameron) Magnacca; and her grandchildren McKensey, Hunter, and Mallory Field; Gianna and Gracin Magnacca; Miley and Kennedy Field; and Bailey and Izzy Zabawski. She is also survived by her beloved dogs, Benny and Lucy; her dear friends Brenda and Joe Halagan, Nan and Brad Zonker; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
Sharon will be remembered for her classy and warm presence, her laugh that lit up the room, and her role as a wonderful wife, mom, and beloved “GMA.”
A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm with a funeral service starting at 4:00 pm at Schoedinger Dublin, located at 5980 Perimeter Drive, Dublin, Ohio 43017. A reception will take place at the same location directly following the service until 7:00 pm.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew her and forever loved by those whose lives she touched.
