Stacey Loerts-Nelsen

Stacey Loerts-Nelsen, age 50, passed away on July 30, 2025, after a long and difficult battle with breast cancer. She was surrounded by her three daughters, husband, parents and pets. She was born on April 29, 1975, in Humboldt, Iowa, to Michael and Kathy Loerts.

Stacey was a light in the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing her. Her journey in life will be marked by her love, compassion, and the family that she built. Her passing has left a void on the hearts of all her friends, family and the many lives she touched over the years. Stacey would have liked to be remembered for the life that she lived and the impact she left on those she knew.

Stacey will be remembered for her many hobbies such as gardening and cooking and her deep love of reading. Stacey had a natural desire to help people, a characteristic that led her to enjoy her work as a Senior Account Manager.

Although Stacey may no longer be with us physically, the impact that she has left behind will continue to live on. May her memory continue to live on and through the love and compassion she showed us all.

Stacey is survived by her husband, Matthew; three daughters Hailey, Alainna and Clara; parents Michael and Kathy; siblings Eric (Erica), Paul (Katie) and Chris. She also is survived by her pets June, Louis, and Phoebe.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Schoedinger Dublin, 5980 Perimeter Drive Dublin, Ohio 43017. A celebration of life will be held immediately following the visitation at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in her name to be made to a charity of your choice or to plant a tree in Stacey’s honor.
