

His family and friends meant the world to him. Steve was one of a kind. He was a handyman supreme - if it was broken, he’d fix it. If it needed built, he'd build it. He always had a back up for his back up. Whatever you needed, he probably had it.
He was passionate about his famous 4th of July parties and amazing fireworks shows. Steve loved motorcycle trips with his friends and enjoyed long walks in nature.
In his free time, Steve enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles, loved reading mysteries and was a strong supporter of public libraries. He indulged in his hobbies of motorcycle riding and traveling, always seeking new experiences and making lasting memories with loved ones.
Steve will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Susan Hidegkuti, children Rachel (Matt Piela) Hidegkuti, Adam Hidegkuti, and Adam McClung, grandson Dan Mitchell, sister Julie (David) Jones, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Steve Hidegkuti and Mildred Hidegkuti Jauert, and children Jason Hidegkuti and Brady McClung.
He was a graduate of St. Marys High School in Ohio. He then went on to get his degree from The Ohio State University, where he belonged to the Phi Kappa Tau fraternity. Steve retired from The Daimler Group after over 35 years of dedicated service.
Steve Hidegkuti's vibrant spirit and love for life will forever be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

A visitation for Steve will be held Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM at Schoedinger Dublin, 5980 Perimeter Drive, Dublin, OH 43017, followed by a memorial service from 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM.
