Ted G. Hopple, Ph.D. 81, passed away June 8, 2023 in Dublin, OH, formally of Columbus, OH. Survived by wife, Joyce McCabe and loving family. He graduated from Belmont High School in Dayton. He received his B.S. from The Ohio State University, his M.S. and Ph.D. from Ohio University. Ted worked at what is now Columbus State Community College for 40 years retiring in 2005 as Professor Emeritus and Chairman of the Accounting and Finance Department. Ted was a man of many interests including exotic cars culminating in his prize winning Lamborghini Countach. His love of sailing, first with his own boats on Lake Erie and Intercoastal Waterway to cruise ships that took him around the world. There will be no services.
