Thomas “Tom” Richard Coleman

Thomas Richard “Tom” Coleman, age 83, of Dublin, Ohio, passed away on May 4, 2025. He was born on January 23, 1942, in Columbus, Ohio. Tom was a 1960 graduate of Westerville High School and following high school attended and graduated from Columbus Business University. He proudly served in the Army Reserves for eight years.

On February 17, 1968, he married his beloved wife, Ellen Gene. Together they had three children, Thomas Randal (Jennifer), Bradley Eugene (Heather), and Timothy Edison (Michele); and five grandchildren: Drew, Claire, Alison, Jackson and Sarah. Family was most important to Tom. He loved to be with his family and took great pride in his children and grandchildren and greatly enjoyed his dogs. Tom was a member of the Presbyterian Church as an adult. He coached Little League Baseball, was a proud businessman and loved being self-employed. Tom and Gene spent many wonderful winters at their second home in Arizona.

He is preceded in death by his mother Rita Eileen, father Richard Edison, stepmother Emma, and brothers Jim and Perry Coleman. He is survived by his wife, three children and five grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Lynn Coleman.

A visitation will be held Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Schoedinger Dublin, 5980 Perimeter Drive, Dublin, OH 43017, followed by a funeral service at 4:00 p.m.
