Graduate of Lockport Senior High School, Alfred University, and Clarkson University. He proudly served in the U.S Army as an undergrad and after college. He travelled around the world during his career and loved meeting new people and experiencing different cultures.
He resided in many places, but settled in Dublin, Ohio in 2002. Bill loved to spend time with his family and especially loved family dinners and watching his grandson’s sporting events.
Preceded in death by his father and mother, Lyman Harwood and Clara Harwood (nee Foote) and brother-in-law, Tony. He is survived by his brother, John (Mary) and sister, Patricia; son, Chris (Shannon);
Daughter, Julie (Andy), and grandchildren, Ian, Jack, Andrew, Garrett, and Ashlee. Family has entrusted Schoedinger Dublin with final arrangements.
