Albert Bradden Best

Albert was born in Iron Mountain, MI on May 8, 1935 to George and Winifred Best.

He graduated from Iron Mountain High School in 1953 and went on to attend Western Michigan University and University of Dubuque Theological Seminary in Iowa, earning a Master’s Degree in Theological Studies.

Albert was united in marriage to Bonnie Armstrong on July 1, 1967. Together they raised two sons.

Albert served as pastor at four churches while in Iowa: Guttenberg, Zearing-McCallsburg, Lone Tree, and Rolfe. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and a volunteer of the Northstar Fire Dept. and a volunteer ski instructor for children at Spirit Mountain, in Duluth.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Albert is survived by his wife, Bonnie; sons, David (Destini) and Jason (Jennifer); grandchildren, Tyler and Jacob; sisters, Nancy Swee, and Carol (John) Best; and other extended family and friends.

Memorial Service: 2 p.m. Sunday, August 7 in Lakeside Presbyterian Church, 4430 McCulloch St., Duluth.
