My dear sweet Alice the nursing home hasnt been the same without you. I havent been there much. I miss you so so much. I loved you like a grandmother . i miss your hugs and smile. The laughter and the stories you shared. I know you are having a lovely time in heaven with all those who went before you. I am sure they had a welcome home party for you! Thinking of you always.

When I met Alice at Portman Senior Center years ago, we became great friends right away. I am sad to hear of her passing. She was a great and caring person, and had a great and funny personality. I wasn't able to visit her a lot after she moved away, but I thought of her daily. I will greatly miss her and the conversations and lunches we shared. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

I was so blessed and honored to have Alice in my life for the few years I had her! I enjoyed our coffee hour socials, hymn sing which Alice always requested the old rugged cross. We would sit in the lobby, go to gift shop . I loved our walmart outtings for her needs. I enjoyed taking her to the auto shows as well as other activities. She loved dancing to the music at events, she was the life of the party!!! Alice had her mind, always knew a person by name. She was amazing!! She adopted me into her heart as I did her! I will miss the fun we had, her smile, her hugs and kisses, her positive attitude and genuine love for people! I will miss our phone calls back and forth to see how each of us were doing.. She was Gods gift to so many! I am glad I spent time at her bedside 11 hours before her passing, she rubbed my hand as I held her hand. One last kiss on the cheek. I will miss praying with her!! She was an awesome friend, person and women! My son Josh would always decorate her window for each holiday and occasion. He loved Alice like a grandma. She always had a big smile a hug and a kiss for him when he came up! We put a brag book together for Alice full of pictures that were important to her. I hope the family treasures it! I will treasure every memory I have with her!!! My sympathy goes out to her family. You will be in my thoughts & prayers!! GOD BLESS & KEEP YOU!

Very sorry to hear of Alice's passing. We remember her fondly when she lived in Duluth.  We enjoyed visits with her and her daughter Nancy.  We will never forget seeing Alice walking around Lakeside.  We could always tell it was her by her walk and still  think of her when we drive by her house.  Our sympathies to her family.
