

Diane was born on October 26, 1944 in Chicago, IL. She grew up in Neillsville, WI and graduated from Neillsville High School. Diane also graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee in 1966. She took post-graduate classes at the University of Minnesota, Duluth. Diane taught elementary school in Racine, WI, Tucson, AZ; and for thirty years in the Duluth School System.
Diane’s hobbies were scrap booking, flower gardening, genealogy, canoeing, reading mysteries, traveling, and taking long walks with her various Springer Spaniel dogs. Diane was an active member of First Lutheran Church of Duluth, where she served in various volunteer capacities including president of the congregation, and was a member of the Izaak Walton League.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph P. Rosenberg and Eleanor (Marose, Brautigam) Rosenberg Rondorf; step father, Al Rondorf; and infant brother, Baby Rosenberg.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Craig H. Grau; sons, William (Emily Shelton) Grau and Aaron Grau; granddaughters, Ruth Shelton Grau and Sarah Shelton Grau; and her sister, Carol (Gary) Ziegler (nee Rosenberg).
