Edward "Ed" Stevenson

Edward R. Stevenson, age 73 of Saginaw, passed peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, October 18, 2018.

Ed was a quiet soul but was loved by many people. He enjoyed riding his motorcycles and airplanes.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward & Anne Stevenson; and by his infant sister.

Ed is survived by his wife of 16 years, Delphia Stevenson; daughters, Aleta Johnson (Mike Hase), Lisa Hinck and Laura Stevenson; step-children, Shawn Annis and Melissa Annis; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and brother, Chuck (Joann) Stevenson; many loving relatives and friends; and beloved dog Sophie.

A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 6:00 PM, with visitation one hour prior at Bell Brothers Funeral Home, 601 N. 56th Ave. W., Duluth, MN.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.

I am so glad we were able to spend more time together over the last three years since I moved closer to you.The times you were able to come visit at my house and the times we were able to visit you at your house are now precious memories. Going to the car show, spending time with your grandchildren and great grandchildren will forever be cherished and our times together are now happy memories. Now you can visit with grandma and grandpa again. I love you dad and you will be missed greatly! I still can’t believe you are gone!

I’ve known Ed since 1987 when I met his daughter, first time at his house, was pretty awesome walk in the garage in maple grove and here’s an air plane just happens it’s a bi plane I’m like where’s the wings , they were in the lower level with his weight set, one of Ed’s projects! He had just finished a 1972 xke jag v12 said Brian we have to run to the part store your driving! That’s the best father in law A guy could of had! Going to miss you Ed!

I remember our mororcycle trip around Lake of the woods. We all had a great time! Ed had the Fat Boy,Tinker was on the Sporty I had the Electra Glide and Yvonne had the Vulcan. Wish we had more friends like you !
