George was a wonderful person. He had a significant impact on my life as a role model and mentor. I came to the probation department in 1976 as a young man. I was assigned to the pre-trial release and pre-sentence investigation unit. He was assigned to train me in the skills as an investigator and probation officer. He became more than a trainer. He also became a father figure for me. I learned so many wonderful life lessons from George. I will always cherish the time I spent with him. He talked about how proud he was of his family and the deep love he had for each of you and his beautiful wife. George influenced my perspective on family and the love of family. Thank you George for the memories!
