Ilo Warren Billings

September 13, 2013 marked the end of 98 years and a great life for Ilo Warren Billings. He was born in 1915 to Guy and Sadie Billings. Ilo was a lifelong resident of Duluth. Ilo was married over 40 wonderful years to Doris, the love of his life. They spent many happy years together with family at the cabin on Sand Lake. Ilo enjoyed a long and healthy life. He retired from Elliott Meat Packing Co. after 38 years of being a Maintenance Mechanic. Ilo was an Army veteran and served in WWII. He also belonged to the International Union of Operating Engineers Local #36. Ilo is preceded in death by his wife, Doris, and special friend, Mabel Williams. He is survived by his children, Mary Fitch of Duluth; Robert (Karen) of White Bear Lake and Brian (Treva) of Victoria; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
