Jeffrey Scott Van Damme

Jeff graduated from Aurora - Hoyt Lakes High School, and attended the U of M. He worked for Essentia Health Center as a Systems Analyst. Jeff married his high school sweetheart Susan Eckman on January 26, 1985. Jeff was a thinker; he always had a philosophical viewpoint to offer. He enjoyed watching the Gophers, and appreciated all variety of music. Jeff was “GP” to grandson Kyle, who was the light of his life.

He is preceded in death by father Jack.

Jeff is survived by his wife Susan; two sons Zach (Jera), Andrew (Jessica); grandson Kyle; mother Lee; three brothers Tom (Pam), Jim, Jon (Myranda), sister Amy (Bob); loyal furry friend Max; and extended family and friends.

Memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday February 8, 2011 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 4831 Grand Ave, Duluth, Rev. Christine Anttila officiating. There will be a time to greet friends one hour prior. A special “Thank You” goes to Solvay Hospice House and Chaplain Craig Carlson for their excellence, and Jose Rodriguez for his gift of life to Jeff.
