

Age 91, of Proctor, passed away peacefully Sunday, November 27, 2011, at Golden Oaks with her daughter at her side.
Leonore was born September 4, 1920 in Duluth to William and Rose Stauty. Lee was a 1939 graduate of Denfeld High School. On June 26, 1948 she married James “Jim” Patterson.
Lee worked as a clerk for the former Newberry’s Dept. Store and Glass Block. She was also a waitress at the Cozy Corner in Proctor.
Lee was a Brownie and Girl Scout Leader, a member of the former Bayview Garden Club, life member of the Women of the Moose 585, retired electricians of D.M. & I.R., and a former member of the American Legion. She enjoyed crafts, camping and traveling in the motor home.
Lee was preceded in death by her husband, Jim in 2002; her parents; six brothers, two sisters; and son-in-law, Le Roy Larson.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandra (Gary) Kershaw of Proctor; grandchildren, Jonathan Larson and Tracy (Joe) Tuma; step-grandchildren, Jeff Kershaw, Allan (Hye) Kershaw, Bryan (Kristina) Kershaw, Kari (Tim) Goddard, Nikki Carlson and Amanda (Luke) McKay; four great-grandchildren, Kayla and Tristen Larson, Abby and Hope Tuma; nine step-great-grandchildren, Dolby, Kris and Ashley Kershaw, Jordyn Goddard, Joseph and Michaela Dougherty, Miranda and Kaitlyn Hanson and Collin McKay; many other relatives and friends.
The family extends a special thank you to the staffs of Golden Oaks and Essentia-St. Mary’s Hospice for the care of Lee. Memorials may be made to Essentia-St. Mary’s Hospice or to the new Rail Road Museum in Proctor
