Lois Elaine Lufholm

Lois was born in Duluth on July 21, 1924 to Myrtle S. (Lindberg) and Ernest R. Larson in Duluth.

She married Donald E. Lufholm on July 18, 1959. They had one daughter, Anine Marie.

Lois graduated from Denfeld High School in 1942 and attended Duluth Business University. She was a secretary at the Duluth Board of Education, retiring in 1960.

Lois taught Sunday School for many years at the Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity, and was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Duluth at the time of her death.

She was a member of the Lois Club, Topnotchers, Ladies of the Round Table, and an associate member of Telephone Pioneers.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald; and daughter Anine Marie.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Kayleigh E. Fogarty, Duluth, and Adam L. Holden, Anine’s partner Scott L. Holden, Lake Nebagamon, Wis., her brothers, Donn R. (Donna) Larson and Roger W. Larson, Duluth, in-laws Dolly Lufholm, Janet Carter, and Peter and Pat Lufholm, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation: 2:00 until the 3:00 p.m. Funeral Service Thursday, October 23, 2014 in Concordia Lutheran Church, 2501 Woodland Ave., Duluth. Interment will be at Park Hill Cemetery.
