She was born in Duluth to Joseph and Rose (Talarico) Molinaro on November 10, 1912.
She had been employed by Universal Match Corp. and retired from the Glass Block Store.
Louise married Irvin Rumpel, July 19, 1941 and together they raised one daughter. She was a life-long member of Good Shepard Catholic Church and presently was a member of St. James Catholic Church.
Louise was deaf from childhood but was an avid reader and was known for her cooking and baking, especially her cookies and caramel rolls.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Irvin; sisters Evelyn Burger, Vivian Halvorson; and brother Dan Molinaro.
Surviving are her daughter Rosemary; brother Lawrence (Kate) Molinaro; several nieces and nephews; special nieces Sally Burger, and Shirley Erickson, and a very special nephew David Burger.
The family would like to thank St. Eligius Health Center for the special care of Louise this past year.
Visitation: 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial, Friday, September 21, in St. James Catholic Church, 721 N 57th Ave W, in Duluth. Father James Bissonette officiating. Interment at Oneota Cemetery.
