

Marjorie grew up in Duluth and graduated from Central High School. She Married George “Spurg” Spurgeon Herrington on Februay 2, 1944 in Duluth at her mother’s home. After they were married they moved to Morgan Park where they raised their children.
She will be remembered by decades of her Sunday School kids and her sisters in Christ from the Women’s Fellowship of United Protestant Church of Morgan Park, her Morgan Park High School band kids, reading kids from Stowe Elementary, friends from sewing circle, quilting and Morning coffee time in her old neighborhood, and American Legion Auxiliary.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, George; parents, Robert and Edna; sister, Vivian Grondahl; and brother, Bob Knox.
She was survived by her children, Barbara Herrington of Colorado Springs, CO, Susan(Tom”Barney”) Bernard of Duluth, George(Valerie) Herrington of Esko, Reverend Glen(Barb) Herrington- Hall of St. Paul, Gerald(Pam) Herrington of Hermantown, and Raymond (Melissa) Herrington of St. Cloud; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Vida Heartfield; many loving nieces and nephews(Both North and South).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to United Protestant Church, 830 88th Ave. W., Duluth.
Visitation: 2:00 until the 3:00 p.m. memorial service Friday, May 1st, 2015 at United Protestant Church, 830 88th Ave. West, Duluth.
