Millicent Nesgoda

Mitzi was born in Duluth on August 19, 1930 to Clarence and Rose (Rohm) Kriehn. She graduated from Denfeld High School in 1949. She grew up on Raleigh Street and moved to Norton Park before meeting Richard “Dick” Nesgoda. They were married on August 2, 1952 in Duluth and she spent many years raising her family. After Dick became ill, Mitzi worked for St. Louis County, traffic violation department. After retiring in 1986 she volunteered many hours at the Goodwill Store. Mitzi was a kind, generous person who dearly loved her family. She will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Dick and her parents.

Mitzi is survived by her daughters, Leslie (Dave) Stano of Solon Springs, WI, Mary Beth (Terry) Watczak of Proctor, MN; 12 grandchildren, Jessica, Zachary, Abigael, Josiah, Jeremiah, Olivia, Nehemiah and Noah Stano, Chad, Ellee, Sarah and Benjamin Watczak; 3 great-granddaughters, Avah, Louise and Audrey; brother, Ken Kriehn of St. Paul, MN; special niece Natalie; five dear sister-in-laws and many other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 P.M. on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at Bell Brothers Funeral Home 601 N. 56th Ave. W. Funeral service will be held at 10 A.M. on Friday, April 1, 2011 at Mount of Olives Baptist Church 1500 Swan Lake Rd. with Pastor Duncan Ross presiding. Interment will be held in Calvary Cemetery.
