Such a nice friend, Wayne was a right hand man during the 20 years of producing pasties and cookies at Christ Lutheran Church.

He was always willing to try new approaches to fine tune the operation.

Wayne also helped serve at the Women’s Spring Banquet. He was always dressed to a “T”.
He was a very friendly person anyone would want to be around.

Thinking of you, Jean, at this sad time. I worked with you at St Lukes many years ago and saw the joy on your face while talking about your family. They will certainly be your strength now. Julia Kochsiek

I grew up with Wayne from kindergarten to h.s. Graduation. We were mates of the first rank. Sport, mucking around and being friends were a constant...I moved on and Wayne stayed in Proctor, always the dependable one! I have only good and warm recollections for my old friend. Vale to him and greetings to his family. Buck Helmer Emberg, Tasmania, Australia.

Our condolences to the Sundstrom family for your loss. Wayne and I worked together on the Railroad back in 1969. At the time I was a caller and Wayne was the Chief Clerk on the weekends. He was a terrific guy to work with. I never heard a derogatory remark from Wayne towards anyone. He was a great person.

Wayne and Jean were the first people to welcome us to our home when we became part of the 3rd Street gang. Wayne always made us welcome with his "Hi neighbor" greeting. He was a great man and we are very sorry for his passing.
