My dad was a loving father who taught us the value of working hard to achieve your goals. His love and support got us through the tough times, his smile and laugh celebrated the good times with us. Love you forever Dad 💕

Al was a great family man, partner, neighbour, friend, and community member. He valued relationships with those around him above all else. He was particularly proud of his children--and what a great bunch they are! He engendered in them an appreciation for hard work, love of family, and respect for the windblown prairies. So sorry for this loss!

I grew up with the Nixon family and recall them as great neighbors. We kids often played in one big pack collected by going door to door to see who could come out and play - then we'd run through the yards of anybody who wouldn't yell at us to get off the grass - Mr. Nixon was one of those. Mrs. Nixon was a sweetheart and you can see by the way Peggy, Wally and Doug turned out that they raised their family right. Thanks for the memories and letting us play!
