Gary Passed away at the age of 56 after a valiant battle with cancer.
Gary is survived by his loving wife Fern and two sons Justin and Graham.
Gary spent most of his life living on the west coast of British Columbia; having moved from White Horse with his family at the age of 9. Fern and Gary married in 1976 in Ucluelet but settled in Shawinigan Lake to raise their two sons.
Gary started his career as a deck hand on a fishing boat, but later went into carpentry where he received his journeyman’s ticket. In 1985 Gary joined the BC Paramedics where he flourished and continued to work until late in 2011. Gary also volunteered as an auxiliary for the RCMP.
Gary's family will be having a celebration of his life at the New Life Baptist Church in Duncan, BC, on June the 2nd at 1:00P.M.
