Jacqueline Stockand

Jackie will be missed by Bruce, her devoted husband of 46 years; children: Sheryl (Willie) McMahon, Suzie (Trevor) Hughs, John (Carman) Stockand, grandchildren: Erica, Kaylib, Joshua, Virginia Nicole, and Callum; her sister Linda and nephew John, as well as many friends made through the years….. and Kramer too!

Jackie came to Canada at the age of 2 years and spent her first year living at Race Rocks Lighthouse. It was here that she lost her dad to a sudden storm. Jackie always had a fear of water but despite this she married a shipwright and commercial fisherman and spent much of her time yelling at Bruce to “slow down” when they were boating in Cowichan Bay with the family.

Bruce and Jackie spent many happy days traveling to Arizona and camping with family and friends. Jackie enjoyed spending time in her garden, chatting with Debbie, soaking up the sun and walking her dog Kramer.

A gathering at the family home @ 1270 Pemberlea Lane will take place on June 5th at 1pm. In lieu of flowers please give a loved one a big hug.
