Born in Quebec, then moved to work and retire in Beautiful BC, Jim peacefully passed away in early April with the sunshine on his face and a few loved ones at his side. Jim fought a long battle with cancer and finally won the right to eternally ride his Moto Guzzi (no pain & no rain) with all his brothers, John, Morley and David. Jim’s remaining brothers Bill, Lou and Ron will miss their weekly chats as well as (cousins) Janet and Glen. Jim left, Betty, “The Love of his Life” together for 29 years, enjoying so much music and magic mixed with RVing & bike adventures. Jim will be so missed by daughter Leah, sons, Adam & Ryan, grandsons Alex and Hendrix plus nieces and nephews. Following a decade of drumming in an Eastern Rock Band, Jim worked in road building and running BIG machines (Drag Line in Ft. McMurray), building BC logging roads plus local trucking. Everyone knew Jim as a great guy with a witty sense of humor, an inner spirit plus a positive Will to never quit.
Wonderful support from all our kind, caring neighbours plus heartfelt thanks to CDH Staff - Dr. W.J. Pewarchuk, Dr. V. Masuda, Dr. A. Wilhelm, Dr. Jean-Marie Wilson, Kim and her special Chemo nurses plus Barb in ICU. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society greatly appreciated.
