John was born and educated in Montreal, He received a DipEd from Macdonald College, a BA from Sir George Williams College and an MED from McGill University. He was a teacher and guidance counselor for the Protestant School Board of Greater Montreal; Headmaster at Sir George William high school, Director of schools, Concordia University; Director of development, Concordia University and president, Madrona Consulting. John has been a professional fund raiser for over 30 years. He enjoys reading, canoeing, fishing, hiking and camping.
There will a celebration of life held on Saturday May 31, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, at St. John’s The Baptist Church, 3295 Cobble Hill Road.
