So sorry to hear of Larry's passing 😢
I was just getting to know him again at the last pig roast at Joanne and Stacey's,  but we had a good conversation and was happy to see him again.  
I will never forget back in the day him coming over to our place just down from grandmas and steeling weiners out of our freezer,  he loved eating them frozen lol. I think that's why dad started locking the freezer lol

Wow I met Larry in the summer of 1967 my father and his mother went together for "whew a long time " in 1975 I took him back to Sask "Saskatoon" taught him to drive and got him his first licence in my 69 Ford then in 76 he loved to drive my 59 Pontiac parisienne convertable around picking up girls haha listening to tunes with my echo chamber on and blasting, we had a blast !!in 78 we made it from Victoria to Hildas Resteraunt in Millbay in 11 min. in my 69 Mach 1 Mustang. young and crazy. Ihave nothing but good memories knowing larry from the Cowichan Station days in 67 I will miss him.............. Gene Golish Victoria.........

I left the Island in 1977.  But I've partied with Larry quite a few times over the years.  Larry and I were not super close, but he was one of our little Cobble Hill gang of teens in the seventies. I'm so glad I made it to Stacey's 2020 pig roast. Because that was the last time I got to see Larry. 

I can't share a memory at this time. It's just to surreal for me right now. I do want to give to let Larry's Mom(Lorette), sister's Lisa &  Lorelle &  Brother's Lorn & Lionel that my ❤ and thoughts are truly with you. At your time of loss whoms son & brother has left you all way to soon. Larry will be missed by many and his laugh will never be forgotten. I love you Larry , Lorette (mom) Lisa, Lorelle, Lorn, Lionel.

I am so sad that Larry has passed and so grateful to have had such a great friend…so many great memories that I can’t share them all but  will say we had such a fondness of scaring each other with practical jokes….I lived in a house for awhile that had a wood box that was attached to the house with a little door to reach out and get the wood. One day Larry must have sat out side for an hr waiting for me to restock the fire. He grabbed my arm when I went to reach for the wood and didn’t say a word as I screamed my head off( I couldn’t see him) Needless to say I never used that door again but the memory is still vivid and we had so many laughs over it…..We will be great angel friends when my time comes

I was with Larry for 13 years. He raised 2 children that he accepted as his own. He was a good man and a good step-dad. He will be missed.
