Predeceased by his wife Jytte in 1969, his eldest sister Marjorie in 2007. Laurence is survived by his wife Lawan, his twin daughters Pamela and Patricia, two grandsons Allan and Arne, one granddaughter Lena and two great grandsons Andreas and Kasper.
Laurence was born in Walsall, Birmingham, England. He attended Queen Mary School and from 1941-1945 he served in the RAF as a pilot. He was posted to Terrell and Texas for his pilot training. He was employed by SAS in 1946 as a pilot and became a Captain in 1951. In 1981 he married Lawan his present wife and settled in Duncan after his retirement in 1983. He will be remembered and missed by all of us.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday June 14, 2015 at First Memorial Funeral Services on Sunday June 14th, 2015 at 2:00 PM in Duncan, 375 Brae Road.
