Marilyn was born in Moose Jaw, Sask to Albert and Sheila Alyins. She is survived by her husband Marv, son Michael, daughter Brenda and grandson Tyler, plus many other grandchildren she lovingly gathered along the way. Marilyn is also survived by her sisters Gayle and Sandra, plus many special friends. Marilyn trained as a Psychiatric Nurse in Moose Jaw, graduating in 1964. She moved to Vancouver Island in 1975 and started a career working in addictions until retirement in 2002. Marilyn and Marv travelled as snow birds for many years making many friends along the way. In 2017, she started her battle with ovarian cancer with the wonderful support of her family, friends and very special Doctors and nurses in the Cancer wards.
