Miles Craig Anderson

Miles passed peacefully from his earthly home to his eternal home with Jesus, his Saviour at the age of 72. His wife and 3 children were by his side at home holding his hands and singing his favourite gospel songs.

Miles was predeceased by his brother Blaine and father Len. He is survived by his wife Carolyn, children Lindsay Leonberger (Mike), Derek Anderson and Lauren Adams (Jack). Grandchildren Cassandra, Aislin, Devan, Levi, Coen, Olyve, Luke, Pearl, Travis and Hazel. Mother Marjorie, sister Colleen (Peter) and brother Garth.

Miles leaves a legacy of faith and was known for his service towards others. He had the ability to make anyone feel welcomed, valued and seen, regardless of who they were or where they came from. He was dedicated to his wife Carolyn sharing 48 years together. Miles loved her with a deep and gentle love that was evident to anyone who knew them. His family, both immediate and extended, brought him immense joy. He looked forward to times of gathering with loved ones which would allow him to play the occasional practical joke.

A memorial service will be held on January 31, 2026 at 1:00pm at Shawnigan Lake Alliance Church, 1603 Wilmot Ave Shawnigan Lake, BC. For those who cannot make it in person, the service will be live streamed at https://www.youtube.com/@shawniganalliance2943.
