Rose Helen Chambers

With great sadness the family of Rose Helen Chambers announces her passing on June 25th., 2016.

Rose was born in St. George Manitoba on Sept. 22, 1927. Rose met Darrell Chambers

in Pine Falls Manitoba and they married in 1947. The family moved to Duncan, B.C.

in 1966. Rose and Darrell enjoyed their years in Pine Falls and Duncan and also spent

many happy winters in Yuma, Arizona. Rose is predeceased by her husband Darrell

(2011). She is survived by her brother Jack Wilcott; sons, Richard (Lorraine), Donald (Donna);

daughter, Evelyn (Alan, daughters Andrea & Gina); grandchildren, Lee (Christina), Doug

(Alison, daughter Amy), Jaclyn (Nick), Michelle (Ryan) and Michael; great-grandchildren,

Aden, Lily and Corbin.

Thank-you to the staff at Cairnsmore Place for all the compassion, kindness, respect and good

care our Mother received during her years there, and also thank-you for helping our

family through this sad time. Special thanks to Dr. Patricia Seymour.

A memorial service will be held at First Memorial, 375 Brae Road, Duncan, B.C. on July 9th.,

2016 at 1:00. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Cairnsmore Place, or a charity of your choice would

be appreciated.
