Ruby Walker

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ruby Walker at the age

of 75. She passed away suddenly after a battle with myelodysplastic syndrome. Ruby will

always be remembered for her unwavering love, tender care, and infinite generosity.

She is predeceased by her loving husband, Gerald Walker; she is survived by her

beloved children Cynthia, Emily, Bong, and Fiona, grandchildren Ashley, Marc, Jenny,

Isabel, Eric, Mateo, and Eliza, and her great grandchildren Noah and Aaliyah. We would like

to invite all of Ruby’s close friends and family to the memorial service. There will be a

viewing at The First Memorial chapel in Duncan on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 from

4pm - 6pm. There will also be a funeral mass at St. Francis Xavier in Mill Bay on December

22, 2016 at 12:00pm and there will be a reception to follow at Kerry Park Recreation Arena

at 1pm - 5pm. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of

Ruby.
